The ‘Casa da Cozinha Velha’, The Old Kitchen House, is an open space, with a double bed, a sitting room and a kitchenette on the ground floor, and a mezzanine with another double bed. It has kept the characteristics of the old kitchen where Rosinha used to cook and make bread in the ovens, and where we would all have lunch and socialise.
The kitchenette has a fridge, a micro-wave, an electric hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, plates, mugs, cutlery and an outdoor grill for barbecues on hot, summer days.
A large eastern facing window faces the olive grove, while two smaller south facing windows look on to an old elm tree and a fig tree. And the front door leads on to the main courtyard, containing a dense fig tree, bringing with it much needed freshness at the height of summer.
Maximum occupancy: 4 people.
